Hey Phoenixville,
Did anyone else head down to First Friday last weekend? It was one of the nicest (and busiest) First Fridays we've had in a while. We finally had a weekend without smoke, rain, or wind!
It's going to be a great week in the borough with a lot of events. The big one is Thursday (Sept. 17). The 4th Annual Phoenixville Film Festival kicks off at the Colonial with over 60 films on the schedule, including a documentary about the town's steel history.
Before that, this Friday alone has an ABBA tribute, two benefit shows, and a late-night horror double feature. The Chamber has a full slate of talks, including one on how the Revolutionary War came through our backyard in 1777. Let's get into it.
Here's what's happening.
Featured Event
The Phoenixville Film Festival is back for year four, running September 17 through 20 at the Colonial. This year's lineup has over 60 films, with four world premieres and 24 Pennsylvania premieres.
Opening night on next Thursday is the one to circle. It features The Haunting of Pennhurst and Steel Wheel, a documentary about Phoenixville's steelmaking past, so you'll be watching our own history on our own screen.
Later in the weekend, keep an eye out for Owen Teale from Game of Thrones in Something Pointless. There are also 90 minute master classes for local filmmakers on a pay what you wish basis.

Great Rescue Round 2026
Many people don't realize that caring for animals in shelters involves much more than just providing food and water.
An animal shelter's daily costs include:
Daily feeding and clean water
Cleaning and sanitation of kennels
Staff to care for and monitor animals
Veterinary care, vaccinations, and medications
Utilities and facility maintenance
Over time, these costs can add up to hundreds of dollars for a single animal during their stay.
So the PSPCA came up with an idea: eat and drink your way to a good cause. The PSPCA's Great Rescue Round runs September 10 through 20, and it works like a passport. You grab one from the PSPCA, then take it around to participating breweries, wineries, and restaurants for exclusive deals during those eleven days. Every purchase helps the PSPCA find homes for animals who need them. Passports are available for pickup now, so pick one up and start planning your stops.

Every sales leader knows the feeling. You walk into a pipeline review with a number you believe in, and twenty minutes later, you're defending every line item to a CEO who just wants to know what's actually going to close.
HubSpot Sales Hub ends that conversation. Every deal, every rep's activity, and every buyer signal are all in one place and updated automatically. So your forecast is built on what's actually happening. And when you present that number, you can stand behind it.
