Hey Phoenixville,
I hope you all had a great Halloween! I spent mine at the Colonial and had so much fun checking out all the different areas of the theatre My favorite part was hanging out on the outdoor terrace.
This weekend is a big one. The 9th Annual Bed Races take over Reeves Park on Saturday morning, and every dollar raised helps neighbors facing housing insecurity. So bring the kids and cheer on some beds on wheels.
Looking for a night out? Thereās RAEL and The Longest Johns at the Colonial, plus comedy, trivia, and plenty more. I also found a fun YouTube video of a drive through Phoenixville in the 90s. Letās get into it.
Here's what's happening.
Featured Event
The 9th Annual Phoenixville Bed Races start Saturday at 11 AM at Reeves Park. Teams build and decorate beds on wheels, then race them down the street. Ann's Heart and Good Samaritan Services put it together.
Every dollar raised goes to neighbors dealing with housing insecurity and homelessness. So you get a fun morning out, and it helps people right here in town.
Bring the kids. They'll love it.

Phoenixville In The 90ās
I was on YouTube this week and stumbled upon someone filming their drive through Phoenixville in the 1990s. It starts near Phoenixville Hospital on Nutt Rd. The video is about 10 minutes long. You donāt need to watch the whole thing, but even a few minutes is fun. Whether you grew up here or are just curious what Phoenixville was like years ago, itās worth a quick watch!
