Hey Phoenixville,
Spring officially arrives on Friday at 10:46 AM, so if nothing else, you'll have a fun fact to drop on someone this week.
It is that time of year to get moving and there is a lot happening in town this week. Live music almost every night, yoga with bunnies, a multicultural festival worth clearing your schedule for, and an event benefiting senior dogs. The borough also shared some updates last week on what's coming up this season.
Whether you're trying to get out more or just find something fun to do, you've got plenty of options.
Here's what's happening.

Twelve78 is hosting Tattoos and Brews for Rescues this Sunday, and it's a good one. Stop in for flash tattoos, cold beer, and raffle prizes, and feel good knowing a portion of tattoo and brewery sales goes to City of Elderly Love, a volunteer run nonprofit that helps senior pets in Philadelphia get the vet care they need and find their forever homes.

City Updates
Borough staff wrapped up this month's council meeting with a preview of what's ahead, and there's a lot to get excited about. As the weather warms up, Easter Bunny photos, Park Cleanup Day, youth flag football, adult outdoor pickleball clinics, and running groups are all on the way. If you've been waiting for a reason to get outside, the borough is making it pretty easy.
One of the biggest highlights from the council meeting is that the borough gave the green light for the Dogwood Festival again this year. It is one of Phoenixville's biggest traditions, running May 13 through 16 at Reeves Park. Think rides, food, live music, and local vendors. The main event is the parade on May 16, and the borough announced there will be a brand new route this year. More details to come and I hope to see you all out there!
