Hey Phoenixville,
We are deep into August now. National Relaxation Day is Saturday, August 15th, and there is plenty to do to celebrate. Live music in the streets, two expos, and an all night horror marathon at the Colonial.
There is also plenty for the folks who like their weeks a little calmer. Birding out at Mill Grove, country line dancing at Twelve78, a genuinely useful session at the library, and some other hidden gems throughout the week.
So whether you want to be in the middle of the action or just find one good thing to get you out of the house, get out and relax!
Here's what's happening.
Featured Event
Splatterfest is back for round fourteen this Saturday, August 15! Doors and gore kick off at 7 p.m. with five over-the-top classics, all on vintage 35mm prints. Four of them have never screened at the marathon before, and we're closing out the night with an encore of one gloriously unhinged zombie flick.
Want to get warmed up? Swing by Friday for a 16mm double feature of All the Colors of the Dark and The Dead Are Alive.

Real Estate Spotlight
Check out this week's real estate spotlight. A gorgeous townhome at 165 Lewisville Court in the highly sought after Charlestown Hunt community.
The brand new 2025 kitchen remodel is stunning with crisp white cabinets, granite, and stainless steel. It's got that perfect low maintenance vibe, complete with a finished walk out basement. I love the double fireplaces and the deck overlooking the open green space. Plus you get pool and tennis access, all just minutes from downtown.

Most Men Notice Aging All at Once
Men's skin is 25% thicker than women's. That sounds like an advantage. It isn't. Thicker skin delays the visible signs of aging — until collagen drops. And when it drops, it drops hard: heavier eye bags, deeper wrinkles, dark spots, loss of firmness. All at once. Most men were never taught to get ahead of it. That's where Particle Face Cream comes in. A 6-in-1 formula engineered specifically for men's skin — reduces eye bags, dark spots, and wrinkles, restores firmness, hydrates deeply, revives dull tone. Two minutes a day. No complicated routine. Over 1,000,000 men already use it. Try it risk-free with a 30-day money-back guarantee. 20% off with code BH20.
